Saying that his opera [Das goldene Kreutz] will now be given around Christmas because the tenor, Herr [Heinrich] Ernst, has so much to study, that Kapellmeister [Robert?] Radecke has not answered his letter, congratulating Hoffmann [i.e. Heinrich Hofmann?] on his success, saying Hoffmann and Goldmark are the only ones [Hans?] Richter is doing new pieces by, mentioning Götze, the young Gräd[e]ner, some of his own works, etc.
